Jayjun Real Water Brightening Mask Review

Hello beauty lovers. I for one am always up for some pampering for my skin. That is part of why I love sheet masking. Today I’m going to be talking about my experience using the 3-step Jayjun Real Water Brightening Mask. Because what is more luxurious than a multi-step sheet mask! The Real Water Brightening Mask promises not only to brighten but also to hydrate and heal your skin. Let’s see how it worked!

I love the color block packaging of this sheet mask. It’s sophisticated and sleek but fun at the same time. All of the writing is in Korean aside from the title. Each of the mask steps is separated into compartments. Unlike other 3 step masks I have used, there are no perforations along the 3 compartments. So if you want to separate the 3 steps, you will need scissors.

To live up to its claims, the Jayjun mask boasts some great ingredients. Niacinamide helps brighten the skin. Sodium Hyaluronate increases hydration and moisture retention. Both of these ingredients can be found in both the essence and mask step! For anyone wanting a spa like treatment, each of the 3 steps contains mineral water from Jeju in Korea. Mineral water has a higher concentration of skin beneficial vitamins and minerals. Another great ingredient is beeswax in the first cleanser step. Beeswax soothes while cleansing and can create a protective skin barrier to lock out pollutants while retaining moisture. It is also known to be anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.

The use of the mask system itself was wonderful. The first cleanser step was smooth, silky, and refreshing. It cleansed my skin without being drying. It also had a lovely fruity-floral scent. The second essence step absorbed quickly and felt moisturizing. The included mask was soaked with essence but didn’t drip. I liked that it had eye flaps so that you could treat your eyelids too! The mask fit well and didn’t budge. The cooling sensation creating a very relaxing experience. I left the mask on for about 40 minutes and even then it wasn’t completely dry. I don’t have a pic of the mask on my face unfortunately, but I do have a pic of each step below. Does the mask look like it’s screaming in the flat lay to anyone else or is that just me?

I enjoyed the results of this mask. My skin looked immediately brighter and smoother. I had been dealing some dry patches on my skin that come and go and this mask completely moisturized them! My skin also felt soft to the touch. The next day the effects were lessened but my skin still looked and felt better than normal. I would say the effects lasted about 2.5 days.
